This movie will be directed by SJ Surya who once gave Pawan Kalyan his all time career hit Kushi. Pawan Kalyan will be doing two or dual roles (according to the rumours of film nagar) in this movie, one of which will be the role of a sincere Police officer.

Pawan Kalyan already started looking like a cop with his trimmed milatry hair cut and sharp moustache. This could be seen in his appearances in Jalsa audio release function and also Ram Charan Teja new film launch.

Singanamala Ramesh is producing Puli movie and AR Rehman is composing the music. The regular shooting of this movie will start from 24th April 2008.
